What is microblading?
Microblading is a semi-permanent make-up treatment similar to a tattoo that's done manually using a hand tool and pigments to create natural brow hairs. It is particularly good for people who have very patchy or thin brows.
Everyone's pain tolerance is different so this will just depend. Some strokes you won't feel at all where as other strokes could be a little nippy. A topical anesthetic is used to minimize discomfort during the procedure.

How long does microblading take?
The length of time varies on a client to client basis. Everyone's eyebrow's are different. Some appointments can take one and a half hours, where as others could take up to 3 hours.
How long does microblading last?
Depending on your skin type and lifestyle, microbladed brows's can last from 6-18 months. Microblading can fade quicker on oily skin types. Maintenance is required if you want to keep up the microbladed look. Luckily these re-touch visits tend to be shorter and cheaper than your very first visit.
How long does it take to heal?
Healing can take up to 2 weeks. The pigment will appear darker at first, but will then settle into a nice soft hue. They may become a little itchy and flaky. An aftercare balm will be given to apply everyday.
What is the aftercare?
The aftercare balm should be applied 3 or more times a day. Avoid the sun or sunbeds for at least 2 weeks. Any exercising that causes you to sweat should be avoided during the healing process. After they've healed its important to wear a high spf on them if in direct sunlight or using sunbeds to help reduce fading. You will be given an aftercare leaflet with more information to take home.
